Some people care too much, I think that's called love.

Just a few wee photos from being out and about. Went for a walk with my friend Laura and ended up down by this old abandoned factory that we always seem to be taking photos at, see  “Love is much like a wild rose, beautiful and calm, but willing to draw blood in its defense.” Anyways my outfit is This amazing NEW YORK printed top by this australian brand called Just Add Sugar, hot Pink Havanias and a vintage Chanel shirt dress from Cheap Jack's in New York, a steal for 13.50. The glasses which were also shown in my previous post are from a New Zealand chainstore called Factorie and the Bow from another chain store called Glassons. DISCO neaklace an old vintage find from my mothers drawers back from her party days in the 80's. It's so bangin.

My post's name today comes from a Winnie the Pooh quote, sigh. For a bear with no brain, he sure had heart. Anyway, it had me thinking and what we define love as. And Pooh DOES have a point, those who love do care too much and you are more likely to get hurt. But really, is that not part of the ride that is life? Basically, caring is what makes us human, what makes us real. Reality is the only thing that keeps us going. You can make a plan, set goals for the future. But everyone once in while, look around. Take it all in. Because this is it, and it could all be gone tomorow.

Regardless, this is how it goes.

Hello!!! So, went and took some photos last night, it was really misty and thought some of my jewlery would look quite cool in it, i think it turned out quite cool I must say! I apologise that the one of the wee little girl statue with the pearls would not go the right way around. Silly computer! I thought that was quite a cute one... Also found some very cool glasses yesterday! In a cheap little chain store for $10 but i absolutly love them!! Buddy Holly style but in leopard print because 1. I LOVE leopard print and 2. Because that makes them just a tad different to the normal Black ones. The outfit I'm wearing them with there consists of a Rolling Stone 1990 Urban Jungle Tour t-shirt that my dad got before I was born, (and i then stole!) Grab extreme skinnies jeans, a vintage scraf from african markets and Jimmy Choo 'Tamara' heels. In all honesty they're a tad too small but i get to say I'm wearing Jimmy Choo so I'm okaay with that.

In the last photo the only make up I have on is MAC Russian Red lipstick, perfect for ballet recitals, nights on the town and just when you generally want to embrace your inner vamp! The top, which you can see very little is from an amaing wee Australian brand called Alba Fan Club. You can find them online at http://www.jeanswest.com.au/
I hope you all are enjoying 2011 and remember, it can only get better! Plus, apprently it's our last full year before 2012 so make it a good one!

Love, Sophia xoxo
